Plans are well underway for the debut of Murray Bridge’s very first Body Building Promo Event at the Murray Bridge Community Club Sunday 19 March which is part of the RSL’s fund raiser the Annual ANZAC Sports Carnival.

All proceeds go directly to the Murray Bridge High’s Student Scholarships.

Body Building is arguably the most popular sport in the Australian Defence Force, the Murray Bridge region has produced many successful Body Builders over the years.

The Women will compete for the East Timor Perpetual Shield acknowledging Australia’s peace keeping contribution in East Timor from 1999 – 2012 and the Men will compete for the Operation Catalyst Perpetual Shield, which acknowledges the ADF’s contribution to the Iraq Campaign from 2003 – 2009.
